this class makes me laugh

Stringer's classes are ridiculous.

today this conversation took place:
Dr. Stringer: How many of you get junk emails offering you drugs?
*silence* after a few seconds of everybody looking around, a lone hand in the back goes up
Dr. Stringer: Eric, how come it's only me and you?
Eric: I think we chill with the wrong crowd.

but every once in a while he says something meaningful:

also today:
Dr. Stringer: I'm not in the business of marrying people, I'm in the business of building families.

well, that's good to hear. it's just that he doesn't really tell us how to do that. this class is Church Education: Youth and Adults. it's supposed to teach us how to be youth/family ministers. the reading material isn't bad, in fact it's actually good. it's just that whatever he teaches---wait...no, he doesn't teach. he just tells stories that HE thinks are funny. too bad their not funny, nor meaningful. ah well. the end.
