i post lots
or something

i hate Lincoln::
like the biulding... Lincoln has got to be the dumbest building on GCC campus. how come our internet either doesn't work or only works at half-speed? and what's up with half of the building being attached, but not connected? i dunno. anyways, it's probably not that bad other than that.

i love Lincoln::
like Abraham... you know...16th president of the US...Emancipation Proclamation. definitely got nothing against the guy. i just don't like the building much.

anyways::
so our network is sucking butt right now, so i'm getting on the internet from HAL. i hope everyone read Jordan's blog about our hiking trip last Friday. if you didn't yet, you should. he posted it on Sunday, September 14, 2003. i'd recommend reading it. it's real long, but ah well, that's why i didn't post about it. anyways, it was pretty great. we didn't get very far, but it was just fun to be going somewhere, even if we didn't really get anywhere. we're definitely planning on sleeping outside some more. hopefully Jordan and i will get to stay up again tending the fire and contemplating how the fire is like the Orthodox Church...

goodnight, Sweetheart, goodnight::
so Jenna Powell is the new ADEL sweetheart. we sang to her Tuesday after our frat meeting. it seemed to be a really awkward situation to me. we told her roomate to bring her down to South Patio, and then we waited for her down there. everybody, for some reason, really wanted to stand at a distance and in a tight group. i thought that was stupid, so i made everybody move closer. after we sang, nobody really knew what to do. i kept trying to get everybody to do a group hug, but i guess everybody was still in the "stand at a distance in a tight grouping" mode. so i gave her a hug and she went around and hugged everybody else and tried to learn the names of the guys she didn't know. i think the whole situation was weird. but anyways, she was pleasantly suprised, i think.

i'm a fool for spools::
last night after jogging with Jordan, Allan, Neil, and Littell (which in it's self was quite an experience, but one i won't talk about), Jordan and i took one of those big spools that they wrap wire around from the Student Activities Center construction site. i was going to use it as a table, but it won't fit into my room. Jordan and i were just about to take the hinges off my door when Joel returned. He was adamant about promptly going to sleep, and wasn't very keen on the idea of us making noise taking off the door and putting the spool in our room. he suggested i get a smaller one, because it would be more like a coffee table and a footstool. so i took the spool downstairs and put it in the bushes outside.
and...um..that's where it sits now. i guess i'll wait until tonight to put it back and take a smaller one, because there's too many people about during the day.

going home...or not::
welp, i thought i was going home this weekend, but alas, Isabel says no. mom called today and said that the Bay Bridge is closed...which is my way home. ah well. maybe i can go home and help pack next weekend. i do need to go home at some point before our family moves to Birmingham so i can get the rest of my stuff that i was planning on bringing to school.

oh kay::
i heart Martin Luther. he's the man. now i'm going to study. bye.
