argh...i posted one nearly identical to the beginning of this post last night, but for some reason blogger wasn't working, and instead of posting/publishing it, it erased it. what fun, and excitement. so now i try to recreate the immense joy that was experienced on and around the quad last night.
so it's 1:15am, and i'm curled up in the fetal position in the middle of the quad

and now::
(now meaning last night at about 2am, of course)
our All-Terrain-Bocce games only get better and better. but that comes later.
first, Greek Games were supposed to happen around 3pm today, but they got cancelled, i think because it was raining. i dunno if that's something that's really a bummer, because i was supposed to do the "Root Beer Chug" and as we all know, i hate root beer. it's gay like like Marvin. wait...no. Marvin Gaye is sweet. nevermind. anyway, my point is, root beer is dumb.
second, we tried to go to the ice cream social. well, the dumb line was too long, and we had to run back as soon as we got inside so we could make it to the last hall prayer. that was no fun, but then prayer is awesome, so there you go.
third, prayer meeting was sweet, as usual. maybe it was a little more sweet because it was the last one of the year. maybe it was a little more bitter because it was the last one of the year. maybe it was sort of bitter-sweet.
fourth, Like Summer had their last show for the year tonight. we tried to get a ton of people together to go see them. they were supposed to go on at 11pm at Victor Lee's attic, but apparently the cops called and told them they would be shut down at 11, so all the bands were cut short, and Like Summer actually went on from 10:20-11. unfortunately, we didn't know this, and arrived about five minutes before 11. we only saw their last three songs. that made me sad, and i told Dan and Trevor so. they were empathetic, but it's not like the could do anything about it. ah well. at least we saw more than Kyle and Mush.
somebody's attempting to thwart my fun, and i wanna know who it is.
but on a better note, Trevor said that i should come up this summer to one of their concerts. he said i'd always have a place to stay in their basement. i don't know how serious he was, but they're all great guys, so i'd definitely believe that. unfortunately, i'm not coming up to Pittsburgh from Maryland this summer to see them play, even though i think they're totally sweet, like ninjas.

so then we walked around for a while. it was exceedingly boring because nobody knew what to do. (well, i wouldn't say exceedingly boring. in fact, it wasn't that bad. but that doesn't mean that i'm going to change that sentance.) i wanted to stay off campus, but nobody else did, so we came back. Joel, Jenna, Jordan, theNeuch, and i went down to Rainbow Bridge and threw rocks in the water for a long time. that was nice and peaceful---until i told everybody to pick up the biggest rocks they could find and we all threw them in the water from the top of the bridge. oh boy, was that fun or what?

after a while, we decided that bocce was the best possible thing we could do. and it was.
oh man, i love bocce so much. especially All-Terrain-Bocce. bocce is normally played in sand or grass, but oh no, we'd rather play in our hall, in parking lots, down sidewalks and stairs and in the woods.
if you haven't played with us before, please do so, because your life is definitely lacking the most enjoyable thing that i can think of on a very late wednesday night. Jordan also talked about this is in his blog, so read his too to get even more of this great great sport.
we ended up losing the little white ball (the one that has the weird name that Joel and i don't know how to say) a couple of times, which was probably not fun for anybody else, but it sure was enjoyable for me. when we were throwing in the woods next to the Chapel Gardens, we lost the white ball in the dead leaves on the ground. we all knew the general area of where it went, so we spent about ten minutes combing the leaves to find it. after a while, i gave up hope and just crurled up into a fetal position in the leaves. some people kicked me, but i didn't care, because we couldn't find the white ball. less than a minute after i curled up on the ground, Jenna found the ball. i attribute it to me giving up hope of finding it.
a few throws later, and we were in the middle of the quad....the ever sacred grass that is not to be walked on. this time Joel had thrown the white ball as far as he could, and we all threw our balls (all at once) as far into the quad as we could too. after running around and picking up our balls, we realized that we couldn't find the white ball again. after a few minutes of looking, i gave up again, and went into the fetal position. i'm telling you, there's just something magical about fetuses in the middle of the quad. within thirty seconds, Jenna found the white ball again. am i good, or what?

also, theNeuch lost his big red balls almost every time he threw them. well, suprise, suprise.

also, i communicated in an initellegable language with some guy that was trying to make out with his girlfriend in the chapel gardens. he yelled something that didn't make sense, so i did it too. he kept yelling back, so i did too. it was fun.

and now for today::
(only because i don't want to study now...........it's all wrong, but it's aaaaallll-alright)
what happened so far today
2 - 10am:: slept. even though i promised myself i would get up at 8:30 and start studying.
10 - 11am:: yes, i did actually study for my physics final.
11am - 12pm:: searched through the entire library for that elusive Boerckel. didn't find him. he later claimed to be in the stacks, but he's obviously lying. then, went to lunch with Jordan and Buddy. it was thoroughly uneventful, which was somewhat dissapointing.
12 - 2pm:: went to the picnic on lower campus with Kyle. ended up finding Joel, along with many other people. played frisbee (YI....YI YI...) in the sweetest grass i've seen in a while. i think we should definitely head that way more often.
2 - 2:20:: still wasting time. i'm starting to feel bad about it though, so i suppose that's a good thing.
mmm...it appears there are four new pics from explodingdog. they were posted today. wow...you must think that all i do is sit around and look at the pictures on that site. well............ uh...you might be right.

and now for something completely different::
actually, it's something completely the same...
yes, you guessed it::
it is a sprocket.

now back to studying for my physics final tmw.
peace in. and by in, i mean out.
what ever happened to my question at the end of my post?::
answer::
i dunno, i guess i forgot to put it in the last fifteen posts. oh well, who cared anyway?
