and now i hear

a woman screaming:: "what'd you do?" ... "what do you mean you don't know?"
a tow truck backing up
silence:: the horn on the car finally stopped
a distinctive whistling from the bathroom:: it is blatantly Pat
a tow truck driving away
more silence
a big truck waiting on the hill for the intersection to be cleared
laughter:: people that i previously saw walking to the intersection from our dorm, now walking back

goodnight for serious this time
